NetApp MetroCluster 1 Storage System
Maintenance Start - Sunday, April 5th at 8:00 AM
Maintenance End - Sunday, April 5th at 12:00 PM

UFIT staff will perform maintenance for NetApp MetroCluster 1 Storage System beginning on Sunday, April 5th at 8:00 AM. The Metrocluster hosts the VM infrastructure, as well as, SQL databases. The maintenance activity on MetroCluster 1 is expected to be non-disruptive. Potentially, some users may experience disconnected sessions (SMB Clients) which will require users to refresh their connections. The maintenance is expected to be completed by Sunday, April 5th at 12:00 PM.

Additionally some users may have encountered issues while reaching off-campus sites or termination of some Gatorlink VPN sessions; users howerver would have been able to reconnect.

UFIT is continuing to work with the vendor to investigate the Service Issue regarding speedtest.ufl.edu. As of March 6th at 3:00 PM, we do not have an ETA for service restoration.


Speedtest is provided by UFIT and is a web service that provides analysis of Internet access performance metrics, such as connection data rate and latency.

myUFL : Service Issue - Resolved (Expired 3/6/2020 6:48pm)

The problem with myUFL has been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. In order to prevent future incidents, all pagelets referring to external content have been removed from your myUFL landing page.


UFIT is implementing a resolution for the Service Issue/Outage regarding myUFL and expects service restoration to be on 3/6/2020 before end of business. In order to mitigate this issue, all pagelets referring to external content have been disabled. UFIT will be removing all of these pagelets in order to address recurring problems with the external sources. You may need to clear your browser cache and cookies if you are still experiencing issues.


UFIT is continuing to investigate the Service Issue/Outage regarding MyUfl but as of 3/5/2020 1:24p, we do not have an ETA for service restoration.


University community members accessing myUFL may get an error message that "all access must originate through myUFL" when attempting to log in. UFIT is working to restore the service to normal as quickly as possible. Possible ways around the error include closing the browser and reopening it then going to my.ufl.edu, clearing the browser cache and cookies, and using a different browser.
