A code upgrade will be performed on the Isilon Clusters, UFDC-FS01 and SSRB-FS01. This upgrade is service disruptive and NFS and SMB service will be unavailable for about 1 hour during this upgrade. UFIT staff will perform maintenance for Network Services beginning on Sunday, 8/6/2017 at 6:00 AM. The maintenance is expected to be completed by Sunday, 8/6/2017 at 10:00 AM.

- A stacked switch will be replaced on the second floor of the Physics building (Building 0092). Hosts fed from the affected switch stack will see ten minutes of downtime as this work is performed.

- Software will be upgraded on the Bio Control Laboratory (Building 0350) BPoP. There will be 30 minutes of downtime the the building and to the listed downstream buildings as this work is performed. In addition, the primary core network uplink for Building 350 will be tested to locate and resolve possible low light level issues on the fiber path. Hosts on the core-fed Animal Science VLAN will see up to 10 minutes of downtime as the testing is performed.

Affected buildings:

Bio Control Laboratory (0350)

IFAS Wildlife Ecology Lab (0339)

Wildlife Field Lab (0343)

IFAS Laboratory (0344)

IFAS Laboratroy (0345)

- Network infrastructure including switches, UPSs and cabling will be replaced in room 164 (TR01B) in the Physical Plant Maintenance building (Building 0702). Hosts in the building will experience a loss of network service up to four hours while this work is performed.
