myUFL – Student Information Systems

UFIT staff will perform maintenance for myUFL – Student Information Systems beginning on Friday, June 24th at 5:00 PM. The myUFL Student Information Systems menus in ONE.UF will be unavailable during the maintenance window. The myUFL portal, Human Resources systems, and the Financial systems will be available.

The maintenance window is expected to be completed by Friday, June 24th at 7:00 PM.

The General Ledger (GL) and all subsystems are closed for May 2022.

Monthly Financial Reports (MFRs) for May are expected to be available on Wednesday, June 8th.

As we near and prepare for the fiscal year-end, please refer to the resources that are available at: General Accounting and Financial Year End Resources

Please take note of the June 10th deadline to request new department IDs, flexes, and combination codes for use in current fiscal year.

GatorMail : Service Issue (Expired 6/17/2022 10:20pm)

The problem with GatorMail has been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.


There is currently an issue with GatorMail (@ufl.edu email addresses) where messages sent from non-UF email addresses are not going through (there are no bounceback or other error messages, the external emails just are not arriving in GatorMail inboxes). UFIT is working to restore the service to normal as quickly as possible.

Critical Microsoft vulnerability "zero-day" (Expired 6/6/2022 5:00pm)

6/2/2022 8:18am Problem

A critical Microsoft vulnerability "zero-day" has been discovered [1] that can allow a remote attacker, via a malicious Office document, to arbitrarily execute remote code. This attack notably does not require macros to be enabled.

Although Microsoft has not yet released a patch for the vulnerability, they have released a recommended workaround at https://msrc-blog.microsoft.com/2022/05/30/guidance-for-cve-2022-30190-microsoft-support-diagnostic-tool-vulnerability

University community members accessing Phones may experience slowness or intermittent availability. AT&T Telephone Circuit is down impacting UF Health telephone numbers. The vendor is working on resolution. An issue with an AT&T circuit is preventing inbound external calls to the following telephone number ranges: 352-594-1000 to 1999 352-627-5000 to 5099 352-627-9000 to 9999 Outgoing calls from those numbers and internal UF calls to those numbers are still operational. AT&T has been notified of the issue, and updates will be posted as additional information becomes available.

UFIT staff will perform maintenance for Cisco CallManager beginning on Friday, May 20th at 6:00 PM. Cisco CallManager is the call-processing component of the Cisco Unified Communications System. During the maintenance activity, Cisco phones could experience several instances of fail-over causing up to 30 seconds of downtime. However, phone calls in progress will not be affected. Other systems affected during this maintenance activity are InformaCast, IP Contact Center, and extension mobility. The maintenance is expected to be completed by Saturday, May 21st at 11:00 PM.
