Enterprise Analytics FIT and DSO Cubes - cubes updated - December 7th (Expired 12/7/2022 3:00pm) (Expires 12/7/2022 3:00pm)

The cubes are scheduled to be updated starting at 10:30 a.m. The process is expected to take around 1.5 hours. During this time, the cubes will not be available. The cubes are expected to be available sometime after 11:30 a.m.


Financial data that feeds the Enterprise Analytics Financial Reports were updated. The only components that require to be refreshed are the DSO and FIT Cubes.


The Enterprise Analytics FIT and DSO Cubes did not complete or update this morning due to delays in the nightly batch process.

UFIT expects these applications to update later this morning.

The reports and cubes currently reflect data through the close of business of December 5th.

Updates will be posted to this alert as soon as additional information becomes available.

HiPerGator : Service Outage (Expired 11/1/2022 11:00pm) (Expires 11/1/2022 11:00pm)

UFIT is continuing to investigate the Service Issue/Outage regarding HiPerGator. The Blue filesystem is impacted at this time, but is in service at reduced performance capacity. At this time there is no ETA for complete resolution.


At about 2pm on 26 October, 2022, Blue Storage on HiPerGator went out of service due to an heat-related problem with the storage. The storage controllers have returned to service, but there is something preventing the storage from being brought back online. A severity one case has been opened with the storage manufacturer, and Research Computing staff are working to bring the storage back online.

UFIT understands that this outage is disrupting academic and administrative processes and appreciates the impact it is having on the university community. Our staff are working as quickly as possible to restore services.

eFax (XMedius) : Service Restored (Resolved) (Expired 10/26/2022 5:00pm) (Expires 10/26/2022 5:00pm)

The problem with eFax has been resolved. In order to resolve this issue users will need to set their eFax to send to ####@efax.mail.ufl.edu instead of ####@fax.local. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.


eFax is currently unavailable. eFax service is down for all email to Fax users on campus. UFIT is working with the vendor on a solution to resolve the outage and will fully investigate the issues that caused it after the service is restored.

eFax is a service that allows a user to send and receive faxes from your PC, as well as a number of Xerox PrintSmart MFDs.

UFIT understands that this outage is disrupting academic and administrative processes and appreciates the impact it is having on the university community. Our staff are working as quickly as possible to restore services.

Cox Communications updated UFIT and they are implementing a resolution for the Service Issue/Outage regarding Cox Metro Circuits and expects service restoration in 3 to 4 hours.


Cox Communications metro circuits serving various UF locations are currently unavailable. These locations include UF offices at the Progress Park in Alachua, Interim Library Facility, Auxiliary Library Facility, and the Childrens Oncology Group. UFIT has escalated with Cox who is working to resolve the outage.

UFIT understands that this outage is disrupting academic and administrative processes and appreciates the impact it is having on the university community. Our staff are working as quickly as possible to restore services.
