UF/Eduroam Wireless Certificate Update
Maintenance Start - Sunday, June 17th at 6 AM

UFIT will be installing a new digital certificate on the authentication servers which support campus wireless (both UF and eduroam wireless networks). Users who have used the "getonline" wireless onboarding system to connect their devices to the wireless network will see no change in behavior as a result of this change. Users who have "self onboarded" without using the getonline system may get a certificate warning.

If you receive a certificate warning, you are encouraged to resolve it by going through the official wireless onboarding system available by joining the "getonline" wireless network and following the prompts. In an emergency, users may also acknowledge the warning but are encouraged to go through the official onboarding process as soon as possible. UFIRST will be unavailable during the deployment window. The upgrade process for the new Portal release requires more time to deploy than a typical upgrade or release. The maintenance window is expected to be completed by Monday, June 18th at 5:00 P.M..

University community users visiting Careers at UF site may experience limitation to the Bulk Compile and Send feature. At this time it will only compile applications. In addition, when initiating a new job posting, users may experience a discrepancy with the job title. The appropriate technical team is continuing to investigate and work on fixing these issues.


University community members may have noticed that Careers at UF is experiencing an issue with the “Bulk Compile and Send” feature. The system is not able to compile and convert any application materials at this time. We are currently working with the appropriate technical team in resolving this issue. We will update this notice once more information comes available.

University community members accessing Internet and I2 should not experience any impact. The service provider is working to restore the service, and full restoration is expected by 3:30pm today.

UFIT is continuing to investigate the Service Issue regarding UF Authentication. The issue of slow logins has been resolved.

As of 10:15am, we are continuing work to ensure that all password changes are successfully synced across the UF Authentication system.


University community members accessing services requiring UF Authentication may experience slowness. UFIT is working to restore the service to normal as quickly as possible.

Additionally, any password changes that have occurred this morning may be delayed in propagating through the UF Authentication system.
