UFIT staff will perform maintenance for Data Center Infrastructure beginning on Sunday, November 19th at 6:00 AM. One leg of power for production systems will be moved onto the newly installed UPS2 "blue" power source to re-establish power diversity in the SSRB data center, old circuits will be removed after migration. No downtime is expected to result from this change. The maintenance is expected to be completed by Sunday, November 19th at 9:00 AM.

The problem with GatorCloud Email has been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.


UFIT has been informed by our vendor that they have reached 50% completion on resolving the Service Issue impacting GatorCloud Email and expect complete service restoration to be finished by approximately 11:30PM. For some users, their service has already been restored, while for others it is still being worked on.



The vendor has indicated a resolution for the Service Issue regarding GatorCloud Email is in progress.


Some University community members accessing GatorCloud Email may experience issues displaying messages through the browser or on their phone. UFIT is aware of the problem and working with the vendor to restore the service to normal as quickly as possible.

The Leave Balances are not displaying on employees check stubs (both left) for all paychecks showing in the system. This includes the current and prior pay stubs.

Some features within myUFL>Main Menu>My Self Service>Payroll and Compensation>View Paycheck may be unavailable while UFIT performs maintenance.

Software will be upgraded on all network equipment in the O'Connell Center (Building 0094). The entire building will see ten minutes of downtime as the BPOP is upgraded, followed by a series of ten minute downtimes around the building as each downstream switch is upgraded.

Interfaces and routing will be enabled on the Core Nexus routers to support new wireless infrastructure. This work will not be service affecting.
